The new lab of SATEL Alarm Systems in Włocławek
The edusatel project works actively for 6 years. Every year, it is joined by another higher and secondary schools. In 2012, we had the pleasure to open 3 laboratories. The last place was the Electrical School Complex in Włocławek. The official opening took place on 28th November. Huge commitment of the Headmaster, Mr. Piotr Człapiński led to creation of a very impressive laboratory. It has posts for students, allowing programming alarm and access control systems as well as monitoring of alarms. Students within specialization in the profession of electronics technician learn the principles of design and programming alarm systems as well as service and installation of high-tech electronic devices.
At the opening ceremony of the laboratory were representatives of the town hall of Włocławek, county office in Toruń, the Board of Education, local entrepreneurs, directors of vocational schools in Włocławek, teachers and students of the Electrical School Complex and Włocławek media.
Creation of electronic alarm systems laboratory is supported by the EU project, "Innovative and competitive school - adaptation of vocational schools offer to the requirements of the local labour market", led by the County Office in Toruń, and town hall of Włocławek is a partner in the project.
Year 2013 promises to be equally interesting. Currently, we are talking with new schools on building new Alarm Systems laboratories for them. Edusatel project has met with a lot of interest among headmasters of vocational schools and universities. This cooperation enables universities and technical schools involved in the project to prepare students for demands of labour markets. Thanks to that graduates, specialized in high-tech alarm systems, will much easier find a job in the industry, both at home and abroad.
