Last December 2020 at the initiative of our employees, we organized yet another fundraiser to support the “Nasz Przyjazny Dom” Foundation (eng. “Our Friendly Home). 

The Foundation runs an assisted home, located in Sopot. It houses several people with disabilities (mostly with Down syndrome). The residents are supported by rehabilitators and psychologists, to lead a relatively independent lives. This time our employees raised 9,830 PLN, and as we’ve been informed by the Foundation representatives, these funds will be allocated to co-finance the rehabilitation office equipment and to upgrade the caretakers’ rooms. 

It was the 14th consecutive fundraising campaign, organized each year in December, for supporting various people and organizations in need. The first SATEL’s fundraiser took place at the end of 2007. Over the years our employees have collected almost 85,000 PLN, in addition to other donated items, like clothing, diapers, or cosmetics. Collected funds have been donated to a few different organizations, working locally in the Tricity, and in the Pomeranian region.

We are more than glad to provide support for those who need it. Another campaign is also planned to take place this year in December.
