SATEL at the MIPS 2010 Fair
The SATEL Company took part once again in the MIPS Fair (Moscow International Protection & Security Exhibition), held this year on 19-22 April. It was the 16th edition of this industry exhibition.
This year the Moscow exhibition hosted 350 exhibitors from 25 countries. Traditionally the fair was an opportunity to show the products already known to our customers in the Russian market, and present announcements of new equipment. Many customers have already become convinced of the advantages of our control panels, detectors, sirens, communications modules, monitoring station, wireless devices and other products contained in our offer.
Among a number of innovations introduced this year, a great interest was aroused in the products dedicated to fire alarm systems, and above all a series of fire alarm panels. Thus the SATEL Company announced its desire to become more involved in this market segment. Much praised was the touch sensor keypad, whose modern design and a range of new functional solutions facilitating its operation bode well for his its success among the users. This is our another step towards user-friendly solutions.
Installers were cheered by the announcement to put on the market a retransmitter of signals from ABAX wireless devices, whereby it is possible to double the communication range of the devices. A new addition to the ABAX system was a temperature detector, useful in applications dedicated for the automation purposes. Attention of the visitors was also attracted by the new ACCO controllers which support the Wiegand 26 data transmission format, thus allowing third-party readers, including biometric ones, to be connected to our controllers. In conjunction with a number of modifications and improvements that have been introduced in the software, this opens up entirely new opportunities for the ACCO system users.
Much interest among the guests representing companies involved in monitoring was aroused by new solutions dedicated to the STAM-2 monitoring station, i.e. STAM-BOX and STAM-IRS, to facilitate its installation and service.
The fair is a great opportunity to meet the clients, talk about their experiences with SATEL products, listen to their comments and suggestions. This increases our knowledge of the market needs and enables us to optimize our business so as to meet them in the best possible way.
