Kiev seminar

On 30 July 2013 in Kiev, we had the pleasure of running a seminar organised by our Distributor - the company Defence. The participants of the seminar included owners and employees of Ukrainian firms which specialise in the installation of burglary and panic alarm systems as well as systems additionally comprising building automation components. 

Owing to a considerable interest in these subjects and a rapid development of the industry dealing with electronic safety devices on the Ukrainian market, we have decided to centre the training on the issues which are of paramount importance to our Clients.

The topics discussed included: the monitoring of buildings on the basis of the Micra alarm module and the Versa control panel, the implementation of automation systems and intelligent building control systems using the Integra Plus control panel, monitoring using the STAM-2 SATEL monitoring station and devices of other manufacturers by means of the SMET-256 converter, and the opportunities offered by STAM-VIEW – remote access system for the STAM-2 monitoring station. The seminar was concluded with a panel dedicated to the presentation of new SATEL products.

During the seminar, the participants asked many interesting questions which referred to the SATELcompany itself and to SATEL’s products. Great interest was shown during the presentation of the SMET-256 module which enables the conversion of TCP/IP and GPRS SATEL monitoring signals into formats supported by the majority of monitoring stations. This solution permits the use of the MICRA alarm module, in addition to SATEL control panels which support GPRS/TCP/IP modules, in order to transmit events to monitoring stations constructed by other manufacturers.

At the end of the seminar, valuable prizes – such as SATEL SMET-256 converters, were handed out to the most active participants of the meeting.
