SATEL at SECUREX 2016

On 25-28 April 2016, the SATEL Company took part in SECUREX 2016 – the largest trade fair of the security industry in Poland and Central Europe.

During the 21st edition of the International Security Fair in Poznan, the Exhibition Center was visited by approx. 30 thousand people who had an opportunity to see the stands of more than 300 exhibitors. SATEL’s stand has always been among those that attract the most visitors. It was no different this time, as evidenced by both the several thousand distributed printed materials, as well as the crowds of visitors eager to see the solutions and devices presented on the SATEL stand.

Particular attention of the visitors was focused on the product announcements, such as the awaited by customers PERFECTA control panel, including devices to control the system based on it, as well as the KNX standard modules, which were presented on the interactive wall. Also the new products, such as the MTX-300 controller, which allows you to expand alarm systems by adding devices operating at 433 MHz, were watched with much interest.

The visitors paid also attention to the presented refreshed versions of known solutions. One of them was the new edition of the ACCO NET access control system, enhanced by including e.g. support for the elevators. Also the new version of the STAM-VIEW interface, i.e. the system of remote access to the STAM-2 monitoring station aroused great interest.

The Company stand was frequently visited both by the beginners who only start learning the specifics of the security industry, as well as by those who are already versed in SATEL’s solutions and use them successfully in their daily work. These installers expressed very positive opinions about the devices which only recently have been added to our product portfolio. Particularly, the OPAL Plus outdoor detector was highly praised for detection reliability and possibility to be used in automation systems, as well as the VERSA Plus and VERSA IP control panels, which are seen as successors to the CA series devices. The visitors were also impressed by the new features of the updated INT-TSI software.

Applications for remote control of the system by using mobile devices also enjoyed popularity, especially the VERSA CONTROL, appreciated for its intuitiveness, as well as the announced INTEGRA CONTROL application, which is to replace MobileKPD-2.

The way of presentation of more than 100 solutions offered by SATEL was appreciated by the jury of SECUREX 2016 who once again awarded SATEL the Acanthus Aureus prize for a distinctive exhibition stand.

During the SECUREX 2016 fair, the principle of operation and capabilities of SATEL devices were demonstrated not only at the Company's stand, but also during various accompanying events. The first of them was the conference, organized by the Company, which presented capabilities of INTEGRUM – a solution to enable management of a large number of distributed security systems.

On the second and third day of the fair, SATEL’s devices were used for protecting a bank branch during a simulated bank robbery.

The SECUREX 2016 fair also included the final of the 5th Championship of Polish Installers of Alarm Systems. This year, as in the previous editions, SATEL served as the Technical Partner, preparing one of the competition practical tasks for the participants. This time the competition concerned the OPAL Plus outdoor motion detector. The level of knowledge and skills presented by the finalists was very high and extremely balanced. Ultimately, the Solid Security Agency from Olsztyn, represented by Marek Dąbrowski and Piotr Podlaski, proved to be the winning team.

On the next day, numerous participants of the "MTP and PISA for the future professionals" educational project, addressed to young people from vocational and technical schools, tackled the same tasks.
